One has to take in to perspective that this is an inexpensive RC car and not a hobbyist car; considering that, the car works perfectly fine for a little bit of entertainment. I bought basically for the sole intent of having a laugh with my puppy; in that, it has succeeded quite well.
I would consider it more of an introductory RC car that you would give to a young kid; basically, if they wreck it, you are not going to get too upset over it.
