I bought this car for my 12 year old son for Christmas and he absolutely loves its! We are purchasing a new one because my daughter thought it would be fun to stomp on it and busted the windshield. It is very durable as he has ran it into the walls, cement barrier outside and been slammed in a door. It just does not withstand a 90lb child stepping on it! Even with the windshield broken it still runs normal but you know how kids can be! Insists that he needs a new one and it will teach his sister a lesson on not stomping on others toys when she has to replace them.
