Hi, I am twelve years old and I recently purchased the Impulse 26 Deep-V RTR from amazon.com. First of all the boat will arrive in about a week. When you open the Amazon marked box you will find another box within that one. I don't know why it is packaged that way, but I can assume it was routed through amazon from a different company. The packing is extremely sound and the boat arrived without a mark. Pro Boat uses very high quality quality components made by Spectrum and by Pro Boat. The controller is manufactured by Pro Boat using Spectrum 2.4 ghz. technology. This boat includes a 550 size racing motor, breakaway rudder and a water cooling system. THIS BOAT DOES NOT COME WITH A BATTERY. I purchased the electric starter pack by dynamite from horizon hobby, it costs about 40 dollars, including shipping and tax, for a battery and charger. Before taking this boat to the local fresh water lake check to make sure all the screws are tight and all the components are securely in place. My boat's motor was slightly loose and offset, I just slipped it back in place and tightened the bolts. In the water this boat looks amazing and runs even better, I would say it runs at about 20-25 MPH and throws up a decent rooster tail. In the water my boat listed slightly but can be easily fixed by a minor re-arrangement. Overall this boat looks great and runs great, and is a great purchase for about 170 dollars.
