400 to 450-Size Mini Helicopter Training Gear:B400 E-Flite Part EFLH1405
Reader Reviews
I should have saw the other negative review and not wasted my time with this. Its way overpriced, all you are getting is some plastic rods stuck through ping pong balls. I tried practicing ground maneuvers with these on and it was impossible to bank right without it tipping over. The rods flex so badly that it will tip over before the heli would slide right. Also the trainer kept falling off the skids because of the cheap attachment system. You can build your own for about $2.00. All you need is a 48" piece of 1/4" wooden dowel 4 ping pong balls, 4 thumb tacks, and 8 zip ties. Cut the dowl in half, make a small hole in the balls, insert the dowel into the balls and use the thumb tack through the end to secure it. Then use zip ties to make a criss cross and use 4 more zip ties to secure it to the bottom of the helicopter. With rigid wooden training legs vs flexible plastic, and with them securely fastened to the heli I was able to learn much faster without it tipping over and if you do break the first set, just build another one for about 67cents (cost of another wooden dowl). I got 4 dowels at the same time and haven't even broken the first one yet. This kit might work well if you are advanced enough to get off the ground, but if you are a complete n00b like me and have to learn ground work first, this kit is useless. Even if you can get off the ground, its not worth the price.I have a Blade 450 3D RTF
