This particular RC tank model is in a word, impressive!. Size really matters. However, one must take both the good and the not so good. Let me start with the not so good. Out of the box, with the battery charged, I put my Tiger through it's paces. With in three minutes I threw a track. I was okay with this and started over again. However, it occurred again. Here, the rear idle wheel was loose. I was not able to tighten it down any more with out breaking it. Further, although there are hobby type upgrades available, I chose not too do this. In the end, she has operated decent with little or no problems. I would strongly recommend regardless of how much you are willing to pay or whom you purchase this tank from, that you really know some basic skills about RC tanks. Go to your local hobby store or go on line. There are plenty of resources available for the beginner or even the novice. Another area of this RC model that was not too great were the delicate details on the tank itself. For example the tools are very easy to break off. If your intention is too beat this model up and run her hard, that's okay. However, I like the details too be a tad more capable of sustaining some type of punishment. The tank crew member is really very crude looking. But, at least he was included. Other than this minor stuff, this RC tank is " buck ". In terms of size, she is quit large. I ran my Tiger Tank in the mud, water, snow, ice and just about anything else a real tank might encounter. It was a delight too have this tank perform very well once everything got settled. She fires her rounds very accurate. The turret does turn, but not not 360 degrees. Do not over turn the turret for it may become disabled!. The main hatch is of the earlier period Tiger Tank and opens up just like the real one. The whole kit comes with plenty of ammo and unit type markings as well as the radio trans- miter. I would like to mention for anyone willing to take some small advise from a tanker, Do not point this tank at animals or people. The BB pellets are soft, yet it could cause an eye injury. Besides, it's more fun to shoot at the " Sherman " tank and score a kill stripe for your gun barrel!!!. In conclusion, I would rate this particular RC tank well worth the price. It has a lot of room for additional detailing which only adds to the joy and fun of owning a RC tank. " Panzer's Rule ". One last remark about running your tank in the water. Do not submerge this model. It will destroy the inner workings has in electronics. When I said I ran my tank in water, I meant a puddle of water. Has for snow, it handled quit well and looked in a word, realistic, to say the least. If you do run into water, be sure to carefully dry all that you can and let the rest dry out by itself. This advice is well worth mentioning since we are speaking about a sub hobby grade tank with some delicate internal electronics. Again, Good Luck!!!.
