Remote Control Halo Laser Battle Scorpion Tank. Halo Laser Battle Scorpion Tank. The M808 Scorpion Battle Tank is an anti-vehicular workhorse for the UNSC. Armed with a 90mm High Velocity Cannon and M247 Machine Gun, the Scorpion is more than a formidable match for any Covenant vehicle at any distance. When the UNSC armed forces need to pack a punch on the ground, they hit hard with the Scorpion Battle Tank. With two Scorpion Battle Tanks, players can point and aim the Scorpions turret to target their opponent and shoot an invisible laser beam. As the tank is hit, one LED light will turn off and it will recoil. After a tank receives four hits, it will be immobilized until it is reset to resume combat. Working front lights allow you to battle in the dark. Authentic cannon firing and engine sounds. Requires 6 AA for tank, 1 9V battery for controller (not included). For ages 8+. Small parts. This is a really cool toy. It looks great, it moves well enough, the controls are cool once you figure out how to "trim", with the only downside being that that must be done each time you turn on the unit. The rotating turret is awesome. The sound effects CONSTANTLY coming out of the controller are HORRIBLE, just TV static white noise. The main reason however not to buy this toy is that the laser tag functionality which apparently isn't even mentioned on Amazon is total garbage. I bought FIVE of these toys today, and out of the five TWO worked. Yes, only TWO out of FIVE actually are able to both fire and register hits from other tanks. The woman at tech support told me that this is the first they've heard about this problem which I don't believe for a second. Its a really great really cheap toy, and I wish they retailed for $50 instead of $30 and were a bit sturdier and more reliable. It pains me that such a potentially AWESOME toy is really not worth buying because of the vast likelihood of it not working. A valiant effort, but falls short. However if you're just looking for a single RC tank from Halo, its pretty great for the money.
