I've been building master grade gundam kits since I was a teenager. This one would be my third or fourth. Like every Master Grade gundam, the kit is high quality and takes time/patience to build. No glue is needed to build it and the parts are all molded in color. I prefer to paint these kits myself, but you don't necessarily need to. It looks alright without being painted. But all the fun is in building and painting these guys! I wouldn't recommend buying this for a kid, this model is more for teenagers or adults or kids who have lots of experience in building models. It definitely makes a nice gift for a Gundam Wing fan!PROS:-It's the Deathscythe Hell Custom! Probably one of the coolest Gundams in Gundam history! The finished product looks really impressive if you've done a good job on it!-Like every master grade, it has some pretty good articulation. Double jointed elbows, knees and shoulders, the wings can bend in multiple places, the feet can arch up and down. Unfortunately, the fingers are not articulate at all.-It's pretty well detailed! Comes with lots of transfer decals which really finish off the model and adds that extra bit of detail that makes it especially impressive.-Sturdy! You can knock it off the action base a couple of times and it'll be okay (action base not included!) It also holds it's beam scythe very well, it'll never ever fall out of those hands thanks to a seam/peg on the scythe/hands.CONS:-I was really disappointed with the hands. Instead of having fully articulate fingers like many different master grades, it comes with different molds of non-articulate fingers in different poses that you can put on the hands. It still holds the scythe really well, but I want articulate fingers on my Master Grade if I'm gonna pay so much!-Like many Gundam model kits, the side skirts can fall off pretty easily if you're not careful.
