This is a 1:72 scale die-cast model airplane fronm Dragon Wings of the P-47D Thunderbolt in the special "Saucy Susie" colors of the 513th Fighter Squadron, 406th Fighter wing. The P-47 was one of the most famous fighter planes of WW II. Although originally conceived as a lightweight interceptor, the P-47 developed as a heavyweight fighter and made its first flight on May 6, 1941.
