So, maybe I'm a rookie when in comes to chargers, but I'm extremely happy with this product. I recently purchased the Traxxas E Revo Brushless 1/16 4x4 truck and this charger. The charger that came with the vehicle is junk, there's no questioning that. The twin peaks worked for me because it has the ability to charge two batteries independently and automatically goes into trickle mode when theyre done. The 1/16 truck has an option to use two batteries (series or parallel) for either longer playtime or double power. Tp took roughly an hour to charge both batteries. While charging, the built in fan kept the charger cool when charging another set right away. I was anxious to get the charger but then wondered how much more I overpaid not getting it online...Hobby Town USA had it for $69.99 and after a little research, I think I got a great deal. None the less, if you need to charge lipo batteries, this isn't the one for you. But if you want a simple and safe way to charge two ni-cd or ni-mh batteries, and not spend a fortune, then I think you'll like this one. I haven't used the dc option, but it's cool if you ever need to hook it up to your car battery. It also came with some extra adapters and an extra fuse. But if you're purchasing it for Traxxas, you need their adapter. Enjoy:)
