Most people want to get something more than the free charger that comes with most Ready To Run kits, these chargers are the ticket. I purchased two of these for my son and myself when we got into R/C cars. These are very easy to use right out of the box.If you know that you are going to go LiPo down the road I would suggest saving your pennies and getting a charger that charges both NiMh and LiPo. You won't regret the investment down the road. However, if you know that you'll be sticking with NiMh batts then don't be afraid of this charger, it will serve you well.
