Italeri Kfz 385 Tankwagon

This is a 1/35 scale Italeri plastic model kit. The kfz. 385 was the primary tanker truck used for German aviation during WWII. This vehicle made by Opel had good off-road characteristics, making it capable of operating on emergency air fields, found in Africa and Russia. It was a widely modified vehicle in comparison to the original kfz.305 and so was the tank and pumping system. The cabin had a fabric roof and the entire exhaust system was repositioned to allow the safe refueling of airplanes. Italeri has captured this vehicle with loads of detail and accuracy throughout. from the heavyweight frame and suspension, detailed engine compartment and cab interior and fuel pump down to accessories tools and rubber tires, the finished model can take pride of place in your ground vehicle collection. Painting instructions and decals allow you to finish the model in one of three WWII liveries. (Driver figure not included)
