I have a couple of these batteries for my VXL 4x4 Stampede, my 2x4 Stampede, and my brand new Raptor Slash.My 2x4 stampede still has the original motor, and this battery makes it go considerably faster for a much longer time. Plus, this battery charges very quickly when used with the balance charger. If it does burn out, I plan on getting a brushless kit because my competition has a brushless motor and a battery like this and they smoke me every time.I highly recommend this battery, even if you are still running your stock motor. Just remember to set your stampede motor control to "LIPO" mode.
