The X-Twin DIY Basic Radio Control Plane Set is a twin boom design of this self assembly aircraft model from Silverlit. The X-Twin radio control plane features separate receiver and battery modules that could easily be fitted into your own custom design RC aircraft if desired. The X-twins proportional power is provided by twin pusher electric motors with accurate steering created using differential thrust. This RC airplane kit requires straight forward assembly with full step-by-step instructions included. The high capacity 3.7 volt Li-Po flight battery is easily charged in around 20-30 minutes from the transmitter's built in charger and provides excellent flight duration. Available in a choice of three exciting colors and different 27MHz frequencies permitting up to three to be flown simultaneously.

First- we bought this and it sat in our closet for a while so we are going to have to get a new battery for the plane in order for it to work. Our fault. But a hint to you, build it when you get it.Second- my twelve year old son put this together with very little help from his father. What little bit of help he had was more along the lines of an extra hand when he felt he needed three.It is easy to charge, easy to assemble and seems fairly easy to fly the little bit of flight we did get out of it.It is very lightweight and seems very fragile. The body and wings of the plane are made out of foam board. Everything else is made out of plastic parts.It was a lot of fun for my child to make and we'll most likely buy another few kits like this for birthdays and special events presents.Enjoy.
