1:18 Scale. 24" wing span. This is a Balsa-Wood Model kit. Whether built for scale or contest flying, the models in this series represent the finest in design and flight capability. Each can be flown using either a rubber motor, gas engine or electric motor (instructions for using electric power supplied in kits motor not included). Although the original manufacturer of the Aeronca Champion sold their business, their successor the Champion Aircraft Corp. produced many of this widely known personal airplane. Aeroncas have been a common site on American airports for many years and rival the Piper Cubs for popularity. Guillows scale model of the Champion 85 is designed to faithfully duplicate the many fine characteristics of this flyer. Skill level 2

The description says this is a Piper Super Cub but the photo shows an Aeronca Champ. The Champ is a superior and more elegant airplane so just hope that's the model you get.
