The B-24 was the longest-range heavy bomber in the United States Army Air Force during WWII. The B-24 was the single most produced airplane in history with over 12,000 aircraft produced that served throughout the war. The B-24 was used in both the Atlantic and Pacific. The B-24H/J was the last production variant and was largely phased out of front line service immediately after WWII.
