Stretched superiority. Introduced in 1967, the 727-200 is the stretched-out version of the popular Boeing 727-100. Its fuselage is 20 ' (6.1 m) longer than the -100, but the wingspan is the same as the previous version (108 ' (33 m)). Airlines which used the -200 included Northwest Airlines and ANA, Japan’s second-largest airline. 310 727-200s were delivered by the time the 727-200Adv appeared on the scene in 1972.
