Compatible with a variety of Spektrum™ DSM2™ transmitters, the Ultra-Micro™ Ember 2™ boasts a remarkably compact design and slow-flying capabilities perfect for indoor fun (or outdoors on a calm day). Weighing less than an ounce, seasoned pilots will be able to handle this sleek micro flyer in small spaces with ease and confidence, while those new to micro will be given a unique RC experience.
Owners of DSM2 transmitters (such as the DSM2 radio utilized by E-flite’s Blade CX2 and the transmitter included with the Ready-To-Fly ParkZone Vapor) can have the Ember 2 airborne in no time, while the plane’s light wing loading allows for the kind of slow flight you’ll have to see to believe.
This member of ParkZone’s innovative Ultra-Micro™ family of aircraft includes everything needed to get started, except for the transmitter. After installing the AA batteries in the charger, simply charge the flight battery (which takes approximately 20 minutes) and bind your DSM2 transmitter. You’ll soon be enjoying a micro experience highlighted by extended flight times and maximum performance, along with the ability to perform 3-channel aerobatics that's sure to put a smile on your face.
From sharp looks to nearly instant enjoyment, the Ember 2 delivers on everything you’ve grown to love about ParkZone’s products and their unique niche in the world of ultra-lightweight aircraft.

I got my EMBER2 to "get my stick back" after not flying RC for 25 years. Great radio control airplane that's also a Very Good buy. It is unbelievably light, but can fly remarkably well in a light breeze (notice that I said "breeze", not "wind"). When the breeze gets to be light wind, you can almost hover in place overhead. Multiple inside loops are not a problem. Although the EMBER2 does fly "faster" than the Vapor, it is still quite docile and flies pretty much hands off when trimmed properly.
It bound to my Spektrum DX5e with no problems. The supplied PZ transmitter works well, but for sure bind your EMBER2 over to your DX5e/DX6i if you have one. I give this feather of an airplane a five-star durable rating due to its amazing weight. I have nosed my into the grass a few times with little or no damage (be sure to check that the battery hasn't dislodged after this happens).
If you are thinking about your first RC park flier or, like me, you are looking to get those old flying brain cells working again, this is a great radio control RTF package to get. I liked this little critter so much that I ordered it's big brother, the Slo-V, because these things are just plain fun to fly. Even when I get my chops back and start flying my Radian, I'll still be keeping & flying my EMBER2.
If you get one you will be flying & smiling. Worth every penny.
