The classic is back. This kit is not for the beginner, but does make for a excellent stepping stone build onto a more difficult kit. When built, it will provide excellent build experience, and more importantly, when completed it is impressive, and will allow the younger builder to feel they have accomplished something, and the older builder to really go all out in detailing and painting. There are some aftermarket parts available for this aircraft, and Mike Grant also makes spectacular decals for the historically significant B-24D Strawberry located at the National Museum of the Air Force in Dayton Ohio. The kit itself is older Revell/Monogram technology with raised lines (although more correct than the current engraved panel lines) and turret accuracy issues. Additionally, the cockpit windscreen glass is undersized, and difficult to correct without significant modifications and surgery. It does however have quite a few interior features, and the bonus tractor. Recommended highly, and will be a wonderful addition to anyone's build collection
