This kit was at first far to simple then far to complex. It has a whopping 5 total pieces that are SUPPOSED to snap together. The instructions are the size of an unfolded matchbook that show very little except where the pieces are supposed to go (As if you cannot figure out where the canopy and 3 wheels go without them). But the wheels could NOT snap in because the plastic it was supposed to snap into was nearly fused shut by a very poor manufacturing process and required me to go in with an crafting knife and clear it away carefully so as to not damage the model. This poor design, even poorer construction, and is NOT the kind of frustration I want to give to an 8 year old. Had I encouraged him to keep trying it on his own like I normally do, the wheels would have been snapped in half and the model in the trash. Wonderful Christmas Present. I remember when Testor made decent models when I was young. Now it is all Chinese crap that is not worth the box it came in.
