Diecast is nice came relatively cheap which made it ideal for gift giving. In addition, even though it is small, the plane is very heavy which gives it the feeling of durability.
However, since the stand is very small and made of lightweight plastic it doesn't provide great support or stability when displaying the plane. As a result, you won't want to put it where it will get bumped or accidentally touched.
