The new Versa Hybrid Supercraft takes innovative RC to a whole other level. The Versa is capable of taking off water or land without any "costly add-on" modifications or upgrades. Simply plug in landing gear and you have a land based RC airplane with servo controlled nose gear. In the water mode you have a servo controlled water rudder. This allows the Versa to be the most "versatile" Rc airplane available. Comes with all the electronics installed and pre applied stickers from the factory. Features a powerful 1200kv brushless motor, 1300 11.1 volt lipoly battery and a 20 amp brushless speed control. The Versa is capable of speeds up to 60mph yet will fly slow enough for the novice to master. Water take-offs are effortless because of the the high torque 1200kv brushes motor combined with a triple bladed high thrust propeller. The Versa also was designed with state of the art modular designed EPO foam parts for extra durability as well as increased torsional rigidity. This adds up to a dynamically performing aircraft, that excels in both extreme performance and low level flying.

The Versa is described as a Novice plane for land and water. After assembling the plane, which took about 3 hours, I gave it a try on my lake. The plane tips and the wings drag in the water. The wing servos are located on the underside and obviously get wet. One of them blew out within 15mins of use. The next day the engine blew. I went to my local Hobby Shop and an experienced flyer told me this is the new model and the servos are on the underside of the wing. He also said the Versa is very hard to fly and definitely not a novice plane. Thank goodness for Amazon.com customer service because Parkflyers threatened me regarding the refund. This is a model plane and had to be disassembled to return. No worries through Amazon though!
