OK maybe I should not be posting a review because I did not buy it from this seller, BUT after seeing the 1 star rating THREE times from people who obviously have NO CLUE as to what they are even rating or talking about, and myself having personal experience with this plane and ovr 13 yrs of flying exp. makes me qualified to review this model or any type of "foamy" aircraft models. So if I may educate you a lil then Listen Up, :) if the title says ARF then it means ALMOST Ready To Fly, and that usually means you will have to already own or buy the following list of 'REQUIRED' items to fly the ARF plane you may be buying -- a transmitter (radio) and servos, (the radio usually includes servos as a package) speed control (to adjust the motor/prop speed) an elec. motor -- *** of the proper size***, propeller -- *** again proper size***, reciever, and then all the things needed to assemble like pushrods for the servos (they usually come with the model) control horns for the flight surfaces, (they also usually come with the model) wheels, (they also 'sometimes' come with the model) glue, hinge tape, BUT keep in mind that the items like horns, wheels, pushrods ect... that are included in the kit will usually be discarded for better quality replacements to insure a safer and more reliable plane so that the modeller does not lose a $300+ investment due to a $2 item failing. SO as you see there are ALOT of steps required to assembling and flying these advanced level of 'toys'. And this particular model is a great design and a superb flyer and does NOT deserve a 1 star at all, But I would only recommend this RCUniverse foam Bi-Plane model to an advanced modeler who has experience with these 'Foamies' type of aircraft. And no I am not affiliated with the seller or even know him and could really care less but I DO still have a passion for this hobby and know that the one star ratings THREE times in a row was undeserved. Heck even once is undeserved. This plane is GREAT for the right level of experience. OK so, ARF means Almost Raedy To Fly. If you want one that is ready to fly out of the box then you are looking for an --- RTF, which means Ready to Fly. But keep in mind that most of those RTF type of planes do not fly worth a c**p. However Eflite makes a few that are RTF and are an excellent choice but again not for beginers. Anyone new to this hobby must keep in mind that there are not too many people that have taught themselves to fly, It can be done (I did it) but it is hard and requires dedication, eventually you will get it and it will become second nature, But ALOT of crashes later. Best bet is to get a computer simulation like Realflight or AeroFly Pro Deluxe. If you got a computer simulation first you will be saving ALOT of money in training/crashes. Teach yourself on the computer and then go join a local R/C flying club, they all have training days each week. And these clubs are all over the place.
